Vegan Hazelnut Dark Choc Spread

Deliciousness served with crepes and banana. I dare you not to eat them all at once. Impossible! 😉

🕘 20-25 minutes


  • 1 cup blanched hazelnuts

  • 100g dark chocolate @trade_aid

  • 2 Tbsp coconut oil

  • 1 tsp vanilla essence

  • 3 Tbsp maple syrup

  • ¼ tsp salt

  • ½ cup plant-based milk (I used soy milk @vitasoy_aus_nz )

  • Bananas or other fruit of your choice

  • Icing sugar to serve


  1. Melt the chocolate and coconut oil and let it cool.

  2. Place in the food processor or blender: hazelnuts, melted chocolate and oil, maple syrup, vanilla essence, salt, plant-based milk.

  3. Blend all until smooth.

  4. Serve with crepes, pancakes, or anything else you desire.
