I’m a plant-based chef and recipe developer with a deep passion for vibrant, nourishing food. I blend culinary creativity with the principles of ancient wisdom and modern nutrition to create meals that support calm energy, steady digestion, and everyday resilience.

Green Kai began as a way to share my recipes with friends and fellow food lovers around the world. What started as a simple recipe-sharing platform has grown into a space dedicated to helping people enjoy plant-based food that is flavorful, nourishing, and supportive of wellbeing - meals that are practical, joyful, and designed for real life.

Green Kai - kai means food in te reo maori (language of New Zealand)

My Food Philosophy

I prioritize organic, seasonal, whole foods, ideally sourced locally whenever possible. As a chef, I’m inspired by fresh, high-quality produce harvested at its peak. The natural freshness and vibrant textures of these ingredients bring vitality and depth to every dish, elevating the dining experience and nourishing both body and soul.

Cooking Background

I trained and worked in professional kitchens in New Zealand, building a strong foundation in both New Zealand and British cuisines. Over the past decade, I’ve been refining my skills through structured culinary courses and private lessons with chefs across several countries. Living in Spain inspired me to explore Mediterranean flavors, while my Polish heritage brings classic comfort foods like borscht and pierogi to my repertoire.

Today, I combine this culinary experience with the principles of ancient wisdom and modern nutrition to craft simple, plant-based dishes that are vibrant, flavorful, and deeply nourishing. My professional background allows me to approach cooking with precision and creativity, creating meals that are both enjoyable and thoughtfully designed.
