Chai Bliss Balls

These dark chocolate-covered chai spiced bliss balls are simply addictive! They are packed with goodness and beautiful chai flavours! By far, the best bliss balls I’ve ever had, and I might have had many! 😉 Make sure you try them for yourself! 😊

Makes 18-20 bliss balls


  • 1 ½ cups of dates

  • 1 cup of almonds

  • ½ cup of sunflower seeds

  • ½ cup of hemp hearts

  • 5 Brazil nuts

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • ½ tsp cinnamon

  • ½ tsp ginger powder

  • ½ tsp cardamom

  • ¼ tsp nutmeg

  • ¼ tsp salt

  • ½ cup of nut butter, I used Cookie butter @fixandfogg

  • 1 Tbsp of coconut oil, I used @bluecoconutnz

  • 200g dark chocolate, I used 72% Dark Ghana @whittakersnz


  1. In a food processor, place: nut butter, dates, almonds, sunflower seeds, hemp hearts, Brazil nuts, vanilla extract, cinnamon, ginger powder, cardamom, nutmeg, salt, and coconut oil.

  2. Blitz until well combined, scrape the sides of the food processor 2-3 times throughout the process.

  3. Place the mixture in a bowl and refrigerate for 30min.

  4. Using an ice cream scoop, scoop the mixture and roll it in your hands to shape a ball.

  5. Roll the balls in previously melted and tempered dark chocolate.

  6. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving. Serve chilled.
