Spice up your mealtime with this mouth-watering Kimchi Fried Rice recipe. It’s insanely flavorful, has beautiful textures of crunchy kimchi, and cauliflower and smooth peas. It comes together in less than 30 minutes! 🙌
🍽 Serves 4 🕘 30 minutes Difficulty: Beginner
Ingredients:
1 medium yellow onion, sliced
2 cups of cauliflower florets
4-5 cloves garlic, minced
1 ½ cups of kimchi
1 Tbsp soy sauce
1 Tbsp chili sauce, I used Sambal Oelek
4 ½ - 5 cups of cooked rice, ideally cooked the previous day
1 ½ cups of peas, thawed
Garnish:
spring onion
sesame seeds
Instructions:
Prepare the ingredients. Divide the cauliflower into florets. Cut the onion and mince the garlic.
Warm a little bit of oil in a large wok. Place onion and stir fry on medium-high heat for 3-4 minutes. Add cauliflower and garlic and stir-fry for 5 minutes until browning.
Add kimchi, soy sauce, chili sauce, and cooked rice. Stir-fry for 5 more minutes.
Add the peas and stir fry for an additional few minutes.
Serve immediately topped with spring onion and sesame seeds.
